2 pts per serving
1 can (15 oz) low sodium garbanzo beans, reserve liquid
2 cloves of garlic, minced/pressed
2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp dried parsley
4 drops of hot sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
Blend all of the ingredients together. Add bean liquid as needed to reach desired consistency.
NOTE: As long as your can of beans is equal to 3 servings at 1 point each then the points for the three servings of hummus will be two points each. Check your can of beans to ensure this is true.

I get asked by readers if I am being paid to push products. The simple answer is no. In fact, most of the products I write about are ones I have found and purchased during my trips to the grocery store or on the road. Occasionally, a company will send a sample my way and if I believe the product will serve a need for my readers and I would buy the product myself, then I will share it with you.
