Reviewing and Giving

Wow, I must have drawn the lucky straw because I am being given the opportunity to try something pretty awesome from an e-commerce site started by two Cornell graduates in 2002. CSN was kind enough to contact me and give me an opportunity to try out a product that is sure to make healthy cooking even easier! So grab a bar stool and sit tight. This review will be coming just as soon as it can.

Happy Birthday to me... oh wait, that was LAST Saturday! So, it's time to let random.org draw a number. My math geek friends in college always made fun of me because I was a firm believer that I should never enter a raffle or giveaway as #1 because I wouldn't get picked. They said it was just as likely #1 would be drawn as #13. I guess they were right because the winner of the Larabar giveaway was #1, Heather from A Healthier Me! Heather, email me at debatespeak at gmail to claim your prize!

Disclaimer:

I get asked by readers if I am being paid to push products. The simple answer is no. In fact, most of the products I write about are ones I have found and purchased during my trips to the grocery store or on the road. Occasionally, a company will send a sample my way and if I believe the product will serve a need for my readers and I would buy the product myself, then I will share it with you. Sometimes I will write to a company after reading about it, if I believe it will help us lead healthier lifestyles. But even then, if the product doesn't pass my scrutiny, it won't make the screen of Uncovering Food. You can trust that every product or recipe posted here has passed through my lips, and that I wouldn't blog about it if it wasn't worthy of you... my favorite readers.
