An Award!!!! Hooray! And a contest...


My fabulous friend Mo the divalicious Food Snob gave me my first award today! I am very excited to be recognized and will pass on the love and recognition after some deep thought and Hip Hop Hustle this evening.

I always wanted to alert my readers to a contest I found out about today from a friend of mine. The folks over at Quaker, Bravo, and Top Chef are sponsoring a recipe contest. It end in a day or two so hurry up and get cooking! I plan on trying out a couple of recipes in the next 24 hours and will post the ones I don't submit (as long as they taste delicious of course).

After a fair amount of thought, I want to give the award to the two following people:

Allie over at Fat Kid Who Love Food because she has a creative writing style
Heather whose focus is Progress not Perfection because she tells it like it is
